Step #1<\/h4>\n

Open photoshop and create a new document, mine is 550\u00d7398px<\/strong> with a white background.<\/p>\n

Step # 2<\/h4>\n

Styling the background layer, creat a new layer, name the layer Background gradient<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Double-click on the Text layer\u2019s thumbnail in the Layers Panel to open up the Layer Styles dialog box, we will apply a vertical gradiant effect<\/strong> for your background. Then click on the color gradient on the right of the Gradient option to open up the Color Gradient Editor.<\/p>\n

Double-click on left-color-stop and enter the color value #a9a9a9<\/strong>, then double-click on right-color-stop and enter the color value #e1e1e1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step : 3<\/h4>\n

Select text tool and type text on front.<\/p>\n

Now apply some effect<\/p>\n

Color Overlay<\/h4>\n

Double-click on the Text layer\u2019s thumbnail in the Layers Panel to open up the Layer Styles dialog box. First we will apply color overlay<\/strong>, i choose #606060. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Inner Shadow <\/h4>\n

Next apply the inner shadow layer style. Keep the angle at 90o<\/sup><\/strong>, than changing the values of opacity and Distance. I choose to set the opacity<\/strong> at 75%<\/strong> and distance<\/strong> at 1px<\/strong>.

Drop Shadow <\/h4>\n

Finally we will apply the drop shadow<\/strong>, first change the blending option<\/strong> to normal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Change the shadow color from the default to #ffffff<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Keep the angle at 90o<\/sup><\/strong>, than changing the values of opacity and Distance. I choose to set the opacity<\/strong> at 47%<\/strong> and distance<\/strong> at 1px<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
